We Nurture, We Learn,
We Act

"May your life preach more loudly than your lips."
- William Ellery Channing

Our Mission

We nurture, We learn, we act

"Unitarian Universalist value a free pulpit and a free pew. The free pulpit means our speakers can speak the truth as they see it. The free pew means that those listening to the message are not required to agree with everything that they hear. We are people of all ages, people of many backgrounds, and people of many beliefs. We strive to be brave, curious and compassionate thinkers and doers. We create community beyond boundaries, working for more justice and more love in our own lives and in the world."

We recite these words each week before our service to remind us of the diverse and varied backgrounds we come from. To remind us that before any messege we may hear from the pulpit, we must but justice and love above all else. These words reflect who we are, and why we come together each week. We do not always agree, but we value everyone's input and humanity. We are here to encourage each other on our respective journeys, listen, learn and love one another.
